Enemies’ List? Obama Hack Disses Drudge for… Well, Posting the News

Matt Drudge’s headline today says it all: ’90 Million Out of Labor Force.’ From there, if you followed the link we attached, the rest is simply aggregate journalism. Sort of what we do, only successful.

Now that particular headline wasn’t posted Wednesday when White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer — who, ironically, has never held a real job — singled out the Drudge Report as Obama’s latest target for delegitimization.

Okay, not to be a troublemaker or anything, but aren’t enemies lists the scourge of Western democracy? Nixsonian (which is the scourgiest of all scourgery)? Did we not see the nail prints in Daniel Schorr‘s hands?

Well, to be fair, Obama’s enemies list is different than Nixon’s enemies list. Because NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, New York Times, Al Jazeera and a whole lotta other guys aren’t on the President’s list. It’s just the ones who don’t like same sex marriage, gun control, Michelle Obama’s brownshirt school lunches blitzkrieg,  open borders … well, things the President wants, who get on the list.

No, wait. That was Nixon’s list.

Hasselbeck Being Dropped from ‘The View’?

UPDATED 08:45 PST.

As Joy Behar skanks off into the sunset, presumably to find a man she doesn’t have to hold at gunpoint, rumors are circulating that The View will not be offering the show’s conservative wildcard Elisabeth Hasselbeck a new contract.

In a news flash which will, beyond a doubt, profoundly and disturbingly affect a majority of Hot Air readers, various media outlets are now reporting that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be leaving her current television employment situation next season. She is currently one of the hosts of a show called, “The View,” which I believe is some sort of travel photography collection.

The future of “The View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselback is up in the air. According to two sources familiar with the matter, Hasselbeck will not be returning to the daytime program next season.

In a statement, a spokesperson for “The View” tells TVNewser, “Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a valued member of ‘The View’ and has a long term contract.”…

Okay, sorry. But can the producers think of anything else that would make this piece of morning drivel less appealing? Wait. there’s Perez Hilton. Multitudes of bon-bon munching welfare moms with rollers in the their hair will give the show a ratings bump, if they replace Hasselbeck with him. Oh, you should be so lucky, girlfriend!

Really, isn’t this like Roger Ailes replacing Sarah Palin at Fox News with Scott Brown to boost ratings?

If there are truthers and birthers, should there now be a new term for those who are doubting President Obama’s claim that he goes skeet shooting “all the time”? And should that term be “skeeters”? If so, count CNN’s rising young star Erin Burnett among the gadflies.

During a segment on Monday night, Burnett took over two minutes to dissect the president’s shooting claim — and she found it wanting.

“Obama the skeet shooter,” she began. “Yeah, I’m not making this up. I mean, if someone is, it isn’t me.”

Okay, call us skeeters if you must. Barack H. Obama hasn’t had a gun in his hand since he dealt cocaine to work his way through Columbia.

Out in Hollywood, just a month off the Red Carpet, the powers that be (Ed Asner and Martin Sheen) have decided Kathryn Bigelow is PC Dark Thirty for Oscar contention. Because waterboarding had NOTHING whatsoever to do with finding bin Laden. Ed Asner and Martin Sheen. Martin Sheen. Worked in the 1990′s Charlie Sheen movies? Lou Grant? Never mind.

Meantime, back in Washington, Eric Holder is making an end run around Congress and giving two unconstitutional agencies unconstitutional powers to gather and retain unconstitutional background information on law-abiding citizens. The FBI (Find them anywhere in the Constitution), and “Sovereign Nations’” law enforcement agencies. These are the police that police the slums the government calls Indian reservations. That are sovereign.

And the Coup de Jour: Obama is out in Las Vegas assuring illegals that they won’t be illegal for long.  Amnistía!!! Ariba! Ariba!
