Tavis Smiley Calls for Eric Holder to Resign!

838-Tavis_Smiley_Heal_Your_Life_keep_aspect_215x215Sarah Palin’s tweet to President Obama calling for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign was met with serendipitous agreement today, from way over in the other corner of the room. HuffPo and Tavis Smiley.

Smiley. Tavis. S-M-I-L-E-Y.

‘Black love is Black people cheering and rejoicing the day that O.J. Simpson was found not guilty, even though O.J. hadn’t done much of anything for Black people. Black love, in its essence, is the awesome capacity and the uncanny ability to love someone in spite of themselves — in spite of their shortcomings…’

Like nearly decapitating the ex-wife. Shortcomings. That Tavis is such a kidder.

Yes. That Tavis Smiley. My personal pick for First Black President. Cornel West being the second.

Anyway…

Smiley and HuffPo, like all savvy liberals, are looking for a scapegoat big enough to deflect shrapnel from the four major scandals that have blown up in Barack Obama’s face over the past two weeks.

This must be painful for HuffPo and the brother. When we said liberals better catch the train before it leaves the station, we didn’t tell them that Palin was the conductor. You betcha!

When asked whether Holder should resign for signing the warrant application on Fox News correspondent James Rosen as a potential co-conspirator in the State Department espionage leak, President Obama said, ‘State Department leak? No one told me about that.’

Okay, that wasn’t nice.

The Right Scoop:

Before the James Rosen news came out, Holder told Congress this:

In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy.

Ironically, he made that statement to a Democrat Congressman. And yes, it has been confirmed he was under oath when he said it.

Then fast forward to the news report by Michael Isikoff with NBC News that we posted this morning that pinned Holder’s signature to the subpoena to go after James Rosen, alleging criminal allegations against him – all over a N. Korea leak.

The law enforcement official said Holder’s approval of the Rosen search, in the spring of 2010, came after senior Justice officials concluded there was “probable cause” that Rosen’s communications with his source, identified as intelligence analyst Stephen Kim, met the legal burden for such searches. “It was approved at the highest levels– and I mean the highest,” said the law enforcement official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. He said that explicitly included Holder.

So, will Congress have the balls to do anything about this or will Boehner put the kibosh on any action taken against Holder?

When asked if he would file contempt charges against Holder for lying to Congress about the Rosen targeting scandal, Speaker John Boehner said, ‘Eric Holder targeted Rosen? No one told me about that.’

Just kidding, but the Speaker will probably find some way to reveal his inner-RINO.

RINOs Still Goring Siblings: Coulter Attacks Palin… Again

Posted in RINO-Plasty, Sarah Palin, The Wrong Right Turn with tags , , , , , , on April 9, 2013 by Regular Right Guy

ann-coulter-tall__width_420What is it with tall bottle-blonde Republican boneracks with obvious breast augmentations and Sarah Palin, anyway?

You might know Tucker Carlson’s The Daily Caller would pick this up and go with it without comment. Man, this guy has been punked so many times by the Right for his swipes at Palin, he must be sending Rush Limbaugh flowers and chocolates by now.

TheDC:

During Geraldo Rivera’s Monday radio show on WABC-AM in New York City, conservative commentator Ann Coulter recalled a story about former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s desire to groom former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin when she first achieved national prominence.

Coulter, author of “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama,” said she had heard from those close to Thatcher.

“One thing that I know, because I know people who know her, is when Sarah Palin first burst on the scene, she wanted to have a meeting with Palin, because she saw raw political talent, but wanted to teach Sarah Palin to do what she did,” Coulter said. “I just know it from friends of hers — to teach [Palin] to speak proper English. Sarah Palin did not meet with her. And just a year or two ago, when Sarah Palin was promoting some reality show or something, she went to England and she announced to the press that she was planning on dropping by to see Lady Thatcher. And Lady Thatcher put out the word that she would not be available.”

I mean, what’s with all the vitriol? Just because Palin can risk a pair of 5-inch heels without being mistaken for Chris Kaman. Coulter made her reputation by doing things like calling John Edwards a ‘faggot’, but its hard to be convinced of her conservatism when it’s so difficult to find a Democrat she hasn’t slept with.

Okay, that was low. I have just summarily slapped myself. But it was certainly no less called for than Coulter’s attacks on the Governor.

In the first place, the story of Palin’s visit to England isn’t true. Thatcher was rumored to have extended an invitation to Governor Palin, but the former PM had been suffering from dementia since 2005. Sarah Palin has never been to England.

The reason we are being so mean-spirited is because Coulter has seemingly gone out of her way to ridicule Palin; she has attacked everything from the pitch of the Governor’s voice to her folksy regional accent (something they attacked Lincoln for, incidentally), at tremendous detriment to the party she claims to support.

Sarah Palin has been a positive voice for her party. What, you think Karl Rove was responsible for the 2010 Tea Party revolution?

It should be noted here that Democrats never trash Democrats publically. Never. Ever. Period.

It is one thing if Coulter disagrees with Palin’s on substantive issues; it is quite another to deride her publically to the universal delight of liberals.

I mean, don’t Republicans have enough trouble winning elections without alienating half their party base?

Earth to Ann: THREE MILLION CONSERVATIVES STAYED HOME AND YOU GUYS LOST THE ELECTION BECAUSE OF THIS CRAP.

Rove’s Thin Skin

Posted in RINO-Plasty, Sarah Palin, The Wrong Right Turn with tags , , , on March 17, 2013 by Regular Right Guy

s-karl-rove-sarah-palin-largeKarl Rove’s had a rough week. It started when Democrat pollster Pat Caddell brought down the house at CPAC on the “Republican establishment and its political consulting class,” and only got worse as the days wore on.

Next, Rush Limbaugh jumped in with Caddell on his Friday show.

“They’re all moderates. None of them are really conservative,” Limbaugh said of the GOP consultant class. “They say they are, and they think they’ve got the recipe to win.” However, Rush ads, “[Romney] won the independents, just like these brainiacs said,” Limbaugh said. “But four million conservatives sat home and didn’t vote.”

Even Donald Trump took a shot.

But it wasn’t over. Next came Sarah Palin’s blistering stem-winder on the final day in which she told the crowd: “The last thing we need is Washington, D.C., vetting our candidates” and said, “The architects can head on back to the great Lone Star state and put their names on some ballot.”

Question: How do you know when a RINO has thin skin?

Well, first he gets defensive and pleads ignorance.

The DC [Excerpts]:

“Well, first of all I live in Texas and not Washington,” Rove said. “Second of all, look, Sarah Palin should be agreeing with this. She didn’t support Todd Akin, and when he said the reprehensible things he said, she wisely came out and said he ought to get out of the race — the ‘legitimate rape’ candidate in Missouri. If she can play in primaries, other people can play in primaries.”

Uh, yeeees. But Palin did not bail on the duly nominated candidate with $2 million and all but cede the contest to Claire McCaskill, either. Akin should have withdrawn, but he didn’t, and he was the only Republican in the race. McCaskill was better?

Then he claims selfless sacrifice.

“But I do have to set the record straight about two things,” he continued. “I’m a volunteer. I don’t take a dime from American Crossroads, and I pay my own travel expenses out of my own pocket. I thought Sarah Palin was about encouraging grassroots activity. I’m a volunteer.”

And all the colored girls sang, “All my trials, Laud, will sooooon be ovaaah.” Poor Karl! Someone pinch those pudgy cheeks. Karl Rove has made multiple millions of dollars fronting establishment Republicans for over two decades! He is without doubt one of the most powerful men in national election politics today.

Then he gets personal.

“I would say this though — I don’t think I’m a particularly good candidate, a sort of a balding fat guy. And second of all, I’d say if I did run for office and win, I’d serve out my term. I wouldn’t leave office midterm.”

Good one, Karl. Of course it might have helped if you and your RINO cronies hadn’t publicly piled on in the Left’s all-out anti-Palin offensive, beginning in 2008, to the detriment of your own candidate and party.

Then for the next two years, you and the brilliant strategists who gave us Sure-Win Willard anonymously sourced liberal media hit pieces in order to stick a fork in a potential Palin candidacy. Whoever could have expected you to support one of the most popular governors in U.S. history when she was literally being sued out of office.

So there’s that.

Karl, we’re going to give you the same advice you gave Palin in 2011: Get a “slightly thicker skin.”

Sarah Palin Is So Over… or Not

Posted in RINO-Plasty, Sarah Palin, The Wrong Right Turn with tags , , , , , , , , , on January 27, 2013 by Regular Right Guy

thIn September 2008, after watching Governor Sarah Palin make her riveting acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, we at MM said, “The Democrats must destroy this woman.”

And they went to work on the effort the next day  in force. They attacked her religion, suggested Baby Trig was really daughter Bristol Palin’s first child; they eventually crowd-sourced her emails and moved their pet author in next door to the Palin home.

What we didn’t count on was the army of Republicans—some within the McCain campaign itself—that would jump right in to aid and abet the most scurrilous smear juggernaut in history. Pundits like Peggy Noonan and backroom operatives like Karl Rove.

Noonan was publicly exposed on hot mic, her hypocrisy now a matter of public record. She finally, like her sister frump Liz Trotta, said What the hell, and came out of the closet.

RoveWill and myriad others supporting a flagging GOP so far out of touch with its base that it cannot begin to assess its own failures worked quietly, for the most part, behind the scenes, taking cheap shots wherever they could.

Did Palin make mistakes? Of course she did, and every one of them was analyzed under the electronic lens in a way not seen since the race for the double helix.

Yet Sarah Palin did not go away.

In 2010, she was in large part responsible for the conservative revolt that gave the GOP control of the House. Regardless of desperate RINO attempts at trying to undo it it has held so far.

In spite of coup after attempted coup and efforts to exile her from the party she still supports, remarkably, Palin has garnered the admiration of a number of unlikely advocates, Hollywood director/screenwriter David Mamet and Reid Buckley among them.

This week Palin announced her departure from Fox News and all ready her detractors are driving the stakes. “Sarah Palin and the End of an Era” declares Yahoo! over a National Journal story. “Why Fox News Dropped Sarah Palin” the CS Monitor headlined.

Neither is true, of course, but lies play truth daily in the mainstream media. Go to the entertainment media and you’d think you are in a parallel universe when it comes to any news regarding the Governor. “Sarah Palin’s Fox News Split: The Palins’ Short, Troubled History on TV” Never mind that $1 million a year and a private studio built by Fox at Palin’s Wasilla home doesn’t sound all that troubled. Not to mention a stratospherically rated TV reality special.

Palin documentarian Stephen K. Bannon published an interview with the Governor today on Breitbart News. Be sure to have a look, and see for yourself, if Sarah Palin is over.

Betcha she ain’t.

Gun Control Works, When Properly Implemented

1357482110_4523_atlantamomGun Control: Shoot a Felon Every Chance You Get…

Fox News:

A Georgia mother shot an ex-convict six times to protect her and her children after he apparently forced his way into the family’s home.

The mom heard knocks on her front door Friday and assumed it was just a solicitor, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

She told her 9-year-old twins not to answer the door and, when the visitor began repeatedly ringing the doorbell, she called her husband at his job and he told her to gather the children and hide.

By that time, according to the paper, the intruder had used a crowbar to forcibly enter the home, and made his way to the home office.

“He opens the closet door and finds himself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver,” Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The woman fired six bullets, five of which hit Paul Ali Slater in the face and neck area, Chapman said. But Slater, who has arrests dating to 2008 and was released from jail in August, was still conscious.

“The guy’s face down, crying,” the sheriff said. The woman told him to stay down or she’d shoot again.

Which seemed to work.

Take a Deep Breath… Aim, Let Out Breath Slowly, Squeeeeeeze Trigger…

ABC News cannot understand why this woman is not in jail.

ABC News:

A young Oklahoma mother shot and killed an intruder to protect her 3-month-old baby on New Year’s Eve, less than a week after the baby’s father died of cancer.

Sarah McKinley says that a week earlier a man named Justin Martin dropped by on the day of her husband’s funeral, claiming that he was a neighbor who wanted to say hello. The 18-year-old Oklahoma City area woman did not let him into her home that day.

“I’ve got two guns in my hand — is it okay to shoot him if he comes in this door?” the young mother asked the 911 dispatcher. “I’m here by myself with my infant baby, can I please get a dispatcher out here immediately?”

The 911 dispatcher confirmed with McKinley that the doors to her home were locked as she asked again if it was okay to shoot the intruder if he were to come through her door.

“I can’t tell you that you can do that but you do what you have to do to protect your baby,” the dispatcher told her. McKinley was on the phone with 911 for a total of 21 minutes.

This young mother went with the sensible shoot-the-SOB option:  Intruder dead, Mommy safe, baby safe. We wouldn’t want an attitude like this breaking out in places like Sandy Hook Elementary, though.

lettermanTHIS JUST IN:  David Letterman is trying to be a nice person now, you guys…

“I feel better about myself, my relationship with my wife is never better, and it’s just because I want to be the person I always thought I was and probably was pretending I was.” Huh?

Dave said this to fellow TV icon and narcissist Oprah Winfrey in a Sunday interview, on Oprah’s Next Chapter. Which is the chapter that came after what we hoped was the Last Chapter.

Get ready for that phone call, Sarah Palin. Dave’s really a nice person now. No wait. He wants to be a nice person because he was only pretending to be before but thought he was. A nice person. When he was creeping us out by stalking you and your daughters on network television every night.

But Dave feels better about himself now. So now we’re into trying to be Good Dave. Not just pretending to be trying to be… Or something.

Gingrich Unloads on GOP Sissies

Posted in Election 2012, RINO-Plasty, Sarah Palin, The Wrong Right Turn with tags , , , , , , , on November 29, 2012 by Regular Right Guy

Are the lines being drawn or what? I for one could have endured four years of Callista’s rictus grin and suicide-run hair bobs for a win. Tradeoff? Two words: Michelle Obama. Think about it.

The Daily Caller:

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said Wednesday that House Republicans should stop negotiating with President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats on the fiscal cliff, saying that by doing so, they give Obama all of the leverage in the talks.

“One of the things I would say to House Republicans is to get a grip,” Gingrich said in a speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.

“They are the majority. They’re not the minority,” he said, enunciating the words as if explaining the concept to someone who did not understand it. “They don’t need to cave in to Obama; they don’t need to form a ‘Surrender Caucus.’”

“So my number one bit of advice to the congressional Republicans is simple: Back out [of] all of this negotiating with Obama. The president is overwhelmingly dominant in the news media. You start setting up the definition of success finding an agreement with Obama, you just gave Obama the ability to say to you, ‘Not good enough,’” Gingrich said.

One question: Does this mean John Boehner has to cancel his green reservations?

Not only does the GOP spend a billion bucks cramming a clueless loser down our throats, but then they say, Mr. President, we’ve already been spanked, please screw us now.

No really. This is embarrassing. When will the GOP wake up and realize that Democrats don’t want a deal? They are completely gaming you morons, and you’re still playing Ward Clever for the media. Grow the *#@%!! Up!!!

This is the reason so many Tea Party stalwarts stayed home. The establishment spent two years going out to destroy Sarah Palin and the 2010 grassroots revolt, and they come up with this as a winning alternative?
