A slight majority of you guys express racial prejudice whether you know it or not. No, no, don’t deny it, it’s true. Jon Krosnick, a completely unbiased expert professor at Stanford, along with the Associated Press compiled a scientific poll. Unbiased. Totally.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Racial attitudes have not improved in the four years since the United States elected its first black president, an Associated Press poll finds, as a slight majority of Americans now express prejudice toward blacks whether they recognize those feelings or not.
Those views could cost President Barack Obama votes as he tries for re-election, the survey found, though the effects are mitigated by some people’s more favorable views of blacks.
Racial prejudice has increased slightly since 2008 whether those feelings were measured using questions that explicitly asked respondents about racist attitudes, or through an experimental test that measured implicit views toward race without asking questions about that topic directly.
In all, 51 percent of Americans now express explicit anti-black attitudes, compared with 48 percent in a similar 2008 survey….
Experts on race said they were not surprised by the findings.
How does one get to be an expert on race? Count white people at Kanye West concerts? Never mind. We’ll just accept that these guys are experts on race.
In a nutshell this means, for instance, that when President Obama lied about sequestration during the third debate last week, white people weren’t mad so much because he lied, but that he was black and he lied.
Well, part black, because electing Barack was just a test to see if Americans are still racists. In 2008, right around 48 percent were. Because they didn’t vote for Barack Obama. See?
We didn’t even know this much until Morgan Freeman pointed out that Barack Obama was our starter Negro earlier this year.
Now this whole Benghazi thing. Keeping in mind Barack is black, are you angry because no intelligent person on the planet could believe that the President of the United States doesn’t know whether the murdered Americans were denied help, or do you think Barack is lying simply because he is black?
Search your heart. Do you not want Barack H. Obama to be reelected president just because he’s black, or because he’s seriously F’ing up the country? Now really really search your heart. Because you may not know you’ve been racist. All this time.
Here’s a quick and easy test. Multiple choice: You like Jimmy Carter a whole lot better than Barack Obama because: a) he’s way smarter than Barack; b) he’s not president any more, thank God; or c) he is white?
Okay, well, maybe Jimmy Carter isn’t the best example. Let’s try Ronald Reagan.
Search your heart.
